Commission Discounts:
Schwab is offering to discount their base commissions for
households that have an email address and custody $50,000 or more with them. They
will drop their 1,000 share and less price
from $19.95 to $12.95 if you are willing to accept emailed confirms and
statements... a 35% savings. Households that custody $1 million or
more automatically do business at $8.95.
Our preferred way to sign up is to click

you are a first-timer you should have your Schwab statements in hand.
Either log in or click on the new user link in the center of the page, their
website does a friendly job of helping you establish an ID and password. Once
inside the site, click on "Account", 2nd tab from the left,
followed by a click on "eDocuments"... far right side. Under "Want to
Reduce Mail?" (right), click on "Turn off mail delivery Statements".
Check the box next to "Turn off paper delivery for all accounts". Both
eConfirms and eStatements can be printed out if you have a filing system that
requires physical documents. This process will also allow you to visit
Schwab's website on demand, we think it is excellent. In the future
