I’M INTERESTED, NOW WHAT?

The information on our site has piqued your interest and you’d like to learn more, but you don’t want to call in an airstrike on yourself or deal with some pushy salesman. Lucky for you, we aren’t interested in launching airstrikes or being pushy.

At P&A, we think in long-term patterns and understand the only way to initiate and develop a trustworthy relationship is by describing our business model and understanding what you want and need. After doing so, we’ll figure out if we’re a good match for each other and then let you make a decision on your own timetable.

With this in mind, there are three potential courses of action. Pick the best one for you.

#1 – “I’m ready to go. How do I sign up?”

Call or email us. We’ll have a conversation and ask the appropriate questions.

–Our staff will prepare the necessary paperwork, highlighting areas to sign and where further information is needed. Then we’ll mail the forms to you.

–Existing brokerage accounts can usually be transferred “in-kind” (i.e. without having to sell any positions and incur unnecessary tax), by simply providing a current statement and signing one form.

–Cash can be deposited by simply writing a check.

–After an account is opened and monies are transferred, we’ll have a detailed conversation regarding asset allocation, investment strategy, future uses of the monies, etc.

#2 – “I like what I’m reading, but I want to look you in the eye and ask some questions before trusting you with my hard-earned money.”

Call or email us. We’ll set up a time and place to meet that is convenient for you.

–During our discovery process, we’ll learn more about you and your needs and you’ll learn more about us and how we operate.

–After an hour of conversation, you should be able to walk away from our meeting and make an informed decision.

–Historically, a high percentage of those who meet with us in person want to initiate a relationship. If that holds true with you, refer to Step #1 for the next steps.

#3 – “I like what I’ve seen, but I’m not quite ready to make a move. Keep me informed so I can become more comfortable with how P&A thinks.”

The bottom line: The process to initiate a relationship with P&A is not onerous. We are diligent in educating you along the way and minimizing the effort on your part. This is a prelude to what a relationship with P&A looks like. We are your advocate.
